To ensure clear, structured, and respectful communication within Autism Dad United’s board, the following procedures apply. All board members are expected to follow these to maintain transparency, efficiency, and each member’s personal integrity.
WhatsApp is the association’s primary channel for ongoing internal communication. Important: Keep communication factual, clear, and within working hours to the extent possible.
Email is used for all official matters such as meeting notices, documentation, minutes, and formal decisions. All important decisions must be confirmed in writing via email.
SMS and mobile phone calls are used only for urgent matters or when other contact methods do not work.
Decisions should not be made in WhatsApp or SMS but discussed and made formally at board meetings. Decisions are documented in minutes.
The association’s cloud service (Google Drive) is used to save and share important documents such as budget, governing documents, annual calendar, and minutes.
All board members are responsible for following GDPR and handling member information confidentially.
Tone and language in all channels should be respectful, inclusive, and non-judgmental.
Internal chats may never be used for personal attacks, gossip, or criticism of other board members.
Each board member is responsible for protecting their own and others’ integrity by following these procedures.
