At Autism Dad United, your trust matters to us. We want you to feel safe in every interaction with our association. That is why we handle your personal data with the highest respect, transparency, and always in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We only collect the information necessary to run our organization effectively and to provide meaningful support to our members. You always have the right to know what information we store, why we store it, and for how long.
How We Process Personal Data
The type of personal data we process depends on your relationship with Autism Dad United:
Members – Name, contact details, and, if voluntarily provided, information about your child’s diagnosis.
Volunteers – Name, contact details, and, where relevant, background information and education.
Fathers seeking support – We do not record conversations but may ask for voluntary feedback.
Participants in meetings/lectures – Name and contact details collected during registration.
Individuals ordering materials – Name and delivery details.
Newsletter subscribers – Name and email address.
Website visitors – Anonymous statistics on visits and page views collected through cookies.
Donors and sponsors – Contact details and payment information, processed for accounting purposes.
Individuals contributing stories – Consent required before use; any sensitive information is handled with strict confidentiality.

Your Rights
As a data subject, you are entitled to specific rights regarding your personal data. Autism Dad United is committed to protecting and upholding these rights at all times.
You have the right to:
Access – Request information about the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification – Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure – Ask for your personal data to be deleted where legally possible.
Restriction – Request limited processing of your data under certain conditions.
Withdraw Consent – Revoke consent you previously provided for data processing.
Portability – Receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where applicable.
Object – Oppose the processing of your personal data in certain cases, such as direct marketing.
Filing a Complaint
If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority:
Europe (EU/EEA): Contact your national Data Protection Authority (for example, in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY – www.imy.se).
United States: File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) via www.ftc.gov.
Philippines: File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) via www.privacy.gov.ph.

Membership is only $5 a month. This minimal fee helps us cover our operating costs. You can help us by recommending us to your friends – the more members we have, the lower we can keep the price for everyone.
