WE CARE ABOUT YOUR PRIVACY
At Autism Dad United Global, our specialists in autism and parental support work closely with technology developers to promote more accessible and secure evidence-based care. Our goal is to make it smooth and safe for you to get the support you need as a father to a child with autism.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and this data protection policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we handle and protect your personal information when you use our services (“Services”).
In this policy, we explain how Autism Dad United works for you as a user, as well as who is responsible for processing your personal information. We review what information is collected, the purpose and legal basis for this.
Additionally, we clarify the situations in which external parties may need to handle certain data so that we can offer a secure and efficient service. Finally, we inform you about your rights regarding our handling of your personal data and how you can exercise these rights.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING?
Autism Dad United Global (“Autism Dad United”) is the data controller for the processing of your personal data in the Service and through this privacy policy we want to inform you about what data we collect, what it is used for, and what rights you have.
WHY DO WE COLLECT DATA AND WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
Below is an overview of the data we collect when you contact us or use the service, as well as the legal basis for the processing.
Account administration Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, and address. The processing is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and comply with applicable legal requirements.
To communicate with you Contact information, such as name and email address to send notifications and reminders, among other things. The processing is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations under contract with you and for our legitimate interests.
To provide you with support and maintain documentation The personal data you choose to share with us during a chat session or meeting with our specialists, such as information about your child’s autism and your experiences as a parent, will be used to provide you with support and maintain necessary documentation according to applicable law. The processing is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and comply with applicable legal requirements.
To process payments When making payments within the service, information about your credit or payment card is collected, including your name and card number. The processing is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and comply with applicable legal requirements.
To maintain security in the Service To ensure security in our service, we may process contact information linked to your user account as well as your IP address to prevent fraud and protect against malicious code. We process the data based on legitimate interest assessment.
Customer service When you contact customer service, we process, for example, your email address or name to help you with your questions. We process the data based on legitimate interest assessment.
Marketing and personalized communication When you use the service, we collect device information about your computer or mobile device, such as IP address to customize communication to you. For marketing, email and phone numbers are used, among other things. For personalized communication in the service, we consider that we have a legitimate interest for the processing after a legitimate interest assessment. For direct marketing through email and SMS, we obtain your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting info@autismdadunited.com
Further development of our services Your personal data, except for sensitive data, may be used to create anonymized and aggregated statistics for the development of our services. We process the data based on legitimate interest assessment.
You always have the option to refrain from providing your data, but it may limit or prevent our ability to offer you the service. Incomplete or incorrect information may also affect our ability to provide you with the right support.
INFORMATION SECURITY
We place great importance on information and IT security to protect your personal data from unauthorized access. This includes both technical and organizational security measures in accordance with legal requirements as well as our internal guidelines and policies. All communication between you and Autism Dad United is encrypted, which means that only you and those involved in your support can access it and your data. No audio or video recordings are saved or registered. However, your profile picture and any files you choose to upload to the service are stored.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, we may share your data with other companies within our group, collaboration partners, or subcontractors to be able to provide the service and fulfill the purposes for which we process your personal data. A subcontractor will never gain access to your sensitive data without your consent.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
To offer our services in the best way, we use various third-party services. By using our services, you agree that these third-party services process your personal data according to their own privacy policy.

We may also share your personal data with authorities to the extent necessary to fulfill our legal obligations.
Additionally, we may share encrypted personal data with advertising services and social platforms such as Meta, Google, Microsoft (Bing), LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Furthermore, we may transfer your personal data in connection with a possible business transfer, such as in a business acquisition or restructuring of operations.
WHERE DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
We strive for your personal data to be processed within the EU and EEA to the greatest extent possible. However, we use subcontractors that partially operate in countries outside the EU/EEA (so-called “third countries”). If we need to transfer your personal data to such a third country, we ensure that this occurs in accordance with applicable legislation. We take appropriate protective measures and apply the clauses that the EU Commission has approved to protect your personal privacy.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We retain your personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Usually, this applies as long as you have a connection to us, for example by using our services or receiving our newsletters. However, it may happen that data is saved longer if required by applicable legislation.
YOUR RIGHTS
For us, it is important that you are aware of your rights regarding the processing of your personal data. Below you will find more information about these rights.
Right to withdraw consent. If any processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent and we will then not continue processing your personal data.
Right to data extract. You can request a data extract to find out what personal data we process about you as well as a copy of the data. Data extracts are mailed to your registered address.
Right to correction. You have the right to request that information about you be completed or that incorrect information be corrected, such as name or other contact information.
Right to deletion. You have the right to request that your data be deleted if any of the following applies:
if the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was processed, if the processing is based solely on your consent and you withdraw it, if the processing occurs for direct marketing and you object to the data being processed, if you object to processing that occurs after a legitimate interest assessment and there are no legitimate reasons that weigh heavier than your interest, if data has not been processed according to applicable legislation, or if deletion is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
If we delete your personal data according to the above, we will, to the extent possible, notify those to whom we have disclosed your personal data. We will also, upon your request, inform you about to whom the information has been disclosed.
Right to restriction of processing. You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. This may become relevant if we have incorrect information about you and you don’t want processing to continue until we have corrected it.
Right to block data. You have the right to request that data in your documentation be blocked from electronic access.
Right to data portability. If the processing is based on consent or contract, you can ask to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format so that it can be forwarded to another party. However, you do not have the right to port your data if we process it due to legitimate interest assessment or legal obligation.
Right to object. For processing that occurs based on a legitimate interest assessment, you have the right to object to your personal data being used. If we consider that such processing should still occur, we must show that there are interests that weigh heavier.
Reporting violations. If you believe that we process your data in violation of applicable law, you should report it to us first. However, you also have the right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction:
